An international cheerleading choreographer has gathered a team of world-class experts to open First Class Athletics in Milton Keynes, offering competitive coaching as well as fun classes in cheerleading, tumbling, gymnastics and dance. Visit their open day on Saturday, September 3, and enter a competition to win a year’s free competitive training!

The new line-up of coaches at First Class Athletics reads like a who’s who of the cheerleading world.

Led by Paige Hottor, who is well known in the industry and has over 15 years of experience, First Class Athletics houses a team of coaches who have competed in America – the home of cheerleading – and even won gold medals!

Paige explains: “We are championing the world of cheerleading in Milton Keynes and offering our world-class expertise. Though we offer coaching at a competitive level, it is also about having fun and building new life skills for the future.”

Learning life skills

First Class Athletics is also a partner of ParaCheer International, offering inclusive cheerleading for all abilities. ParaCheer International promotes and supports inclusive cheerleading that integrates disabled and non-disabled athletes.

First Class Athletics coach Roxy Asare, who has over 10 years of All Star cheerleading experience, initially started as a shy youngster whose mum persuaded her to take up cheerleading.

She says: “I was so shy but my mum knew that she needed to get me out of the house and encouraged me to start cheerleading classes – and I haven’t looked back since, even to this day as a coach. Cheerleading made me more sociable and confident, and has taught me how skills learnt inside the gym, like teamwork and discipline, can positively impact life outside of the gym. It has broadened my perspective on life and has even allowed me to now work in a job that I love.”

Classes on offer

From grassroots classes after school, to teaching elite competitive teams, First Class Athletics is offering a range of fun classes for all ages, from toddlers up to adults. Sessions run after school and at weekends, with a 5% discount for the first sibling and 10% discount for further siblings. Recreational classes are offered as pay-as-you-go lessons, as well as by monthly payments.

First Class Athletics is also offering birthday parties, which are led by its party hosts. Party options include cheerleading, commercial dance, Tik Tok, tumbling and ninja!
