A 44-year-old man from Milton Keynes is to be sentenced for a charge of possessing extreme pornographic images involving sexual interference with a corpse.

Ben Sawyer, from George Street in Bletchley, is also charged with possessing four video images of of a person performing a sexual act with a live animal.

He is further charged with possessing eight prohibited images of children.

The charges state the images were found on a mobile phone and on a computer hard drive.

The corpse charge reads: "Between 17.09/2015 and 02/06.2017 at Bletchley possessed 15 extreme pornographic images on iPhone (11 videos and four still images) which portrayed, in an explicit and realistic way, an act which involved sexual interference with a corpse and which was grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character."

Sawyer indicated a guilty plea to all charges at Milton Keynes Magistrates Court on February 4 and has now been committed to Aylesbury Crown court for sentencing.

He will also be sentenced for one charge of possessing cocaine, one for possessing MDMA, and a third charge of possessing cannabis.

He has been granted bail.
