Free activities for children in half term week
On Monday and Saturday, craft-based activities are available in the Kids’ Club area, near the Customer Information Desk next to Debenhams.
On Tuesday, children can lose themselves in a world of imagination as Waterstones hosts a series of book readings outside the store at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

Hide AdOn Wednesday, it’s time to get the creative juices flowing with a French-inspired art workshop. Children can dress up in a white shirt, red beret and a moustache, while creating their masterpiece to take home.
On Thursday, little ones can decorate their own cookie pop to take home, with the help of superstar local cake artist Karrin Simpson.
Activities are free, with no booking required and are open to all ages, but are especially suitable for pre-school and early years children.
