Church comes up with alternative plan involving 'river of red' pebbles for Remembrance Day this year

The Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul in Newport Pagnell is asking as many townspeople as possible to paint a pebble or small rock in the colour of red.
If they have no red paint, they can cover it in red paper.
The pebbles can then be placed in a 'river' around the base of the cross in the church, which will be opened every morning between November 2 and November 11.
