Bedford is almost four times higher than MK, while Northants is double.

As 10 more people were confirmed to have Covid in MK today, the city's seven day infection rate has stabilised at 15.6 cases per 100,000 people.

This compares to 56.6 in Bedford and 30.9 in Northamptonshire.

The average UK case rate is also higher than MK, and currently stands at 21.1 cases per 100,000 of the population.

Nationally, there have been 2,357 new cases and just four deaths over the past 24 hours.
