A stray cat adopted by an entire street is the subject of a citywide search after running away from his new life of luxury.
Silver tabby Bobby had been looked after the past 18 months by residents in Fossey Close in Shenley Brook End.

Hide AdTimid and starving, it took months for him to trust the householders enough to take food and shelter.
"One of the houses even had a cat box outside for him as he’s very shy and wary,” said one resident, Michelle.
Finally someone got close enough to have Bobby scanned and discovered he had a chip bearing his owner’s contact details.
The owners were contacted but sadly couldn’t take four-year-old Bobby back and signed him over to MK Cat Rescue to be rehomed.

However, days later he managed to escape. That was two weeks ago and has not been seen since.
It is thought Bobby could be heading back to his familiar old neighbourhood more than three miles away.
“He will have no idea where he is and he’s going to be scared and hungry,” said Michelle. "The thought of him being lost or potentially hurt is heartbreaking… Please, please can everyone keep a look out for him.”
Anyone who spots Bobby should call 07359186718 or contact MK Cat Rescue.
