Police appeal after woman spat at in racially motivated assault
Between 5.30pm and 5.40pm on Sunday, October 2, there was an argument at the bus stand, B3, in Midsummer Boulevard between a man and a woman.
A third person, the victim, a 26-year-old woman, tried to interven but was assaulted by the pair.

Hide AdThe woman pulled the victim’s phone out of her hand and threw it on the floor and the man directed racial abuse at the victim and spat in her face.
The woman offender is white, around 5ft 3ins, in his mid-forties, of medium build with brown hair tied back.
She was wearing a distinctive white fluffy woolly coat and black jeans.
Investigating officer PC Matthew Waters, said: “This was an unprovoked attack on someone intervening in an argument between two people.
