Milton Keynes' own former Love Island contestant and beauty YouTuber Malin Andersson has shared a heartbreaking message following the death of her one-month old daughter.

Andersson and her partner Tom Kemp’s daughter Consy had been in intensive care at Great Ormond Street Hospital after she was born seven weeks prematurely on 23 December.

The reality star has been updating fans over the past month on social media, but her latest post announced that her daughter died on Tuesday.

Andersson posted a picture of her daughter and wrote: “RIP my angel.”

The 26-year-old from Milton Keynes, whose mother died from cancer in November 2017, wrote in a separate post on Instagram: “Completely in love with you.. and my Mum just wanted you to be with her."

“Your time wasn’t ready yet. Mummy loves you. I stayed with you each day… you opened your eyes one last time for me and I saw those beautiful big brown eyes.

“I’m so sorry I couldn’t do anymore. Go be with grandma Consy. My angel. Rest in peace Consy Gloria Emma Andersson-Kemp. 23/12/18-22/01/19.”

On 1 January, the reality TV star had asking her fans for “prayers please” on Twitter, as her “beautiful girl” had been born prematurely.

In another tweet earlier this month, she had said that it was the “hardest thing I’ve ever gone through”.

Stars send condolences

Andersson was among the 26 contestants in the second series of ITV2 reality series Love Island in 2016. Fellow contestants Kady McDermott and Jessica Hayes were among the many people sending messages of condolence to Andersson.

McDermott tweeted: “Oh Malin, my heart aches for you I’m so sorry. Sending you all my love and strength right now. Stay strong xxx.”
