Competing at the Loughborough Throws International MMKAC’s Ayesha Jones suffered a rare defeat in the under17 girls Javelin.
Her best on the day of 46.50m was well down on her usual 49/50m+ as Harriet Wheeler (West Cheshire) threw a season’s best of 47.21m for victory.
The week previous Laura Zialor won the high jump at a Throws International held also at Loughborough. She cleared 1m84 representing England.
